    NBA Career

    Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was born on February 18, 1993 in Thomaston, Georgia. After attending UGA and declaring for the draft in 2013, Caldwell-Pope was drafted by the Detrioit Pistons with the 8th pick of the 1st round. Caldwell-Pope played on the Pistons for 4 years and was consdiered to be a solid role player, having his best statistical season in 2015-2016.Kentavious Caldwell-Pope or KCP then signed a contract to play with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2017 and played there until 2021.Following the 2021 season, KCP was traded to the Washington Wizards as a part of a multi player deal. He played there for only 1 year, and has since been traded again to the Denver Nuggets where he currently plays. During his NBA career, KCP hasbeen to the playoffs 3 times and has already won a championship with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020. He is currently entering his 9th NBA season.
